About Me

My photo
Pam DeFrees
San Antonio, TX, United States
God has given our family a heart for the orphans in Odessa Ukraine. It started with our oldest son, Michael when he went with San Antonio Christian School. Each summer a team of adults, graduates (return mission team members), and high school students go to Ukraine for a little over 2 weeks to share the Good News of Jesus. Their desire is to make sure each child know how much God loves them and how much they love them. As long as God keeps opening the door for the mission team to return to Ukraine, they plan to keep going back. I wrote that years ago; Now it is 2012 and God has completely taking our family, wadded us up in His hands, thrown us on the clay table, kneaded us, molded us, and He is in the process of re-shaping us into what He wants us to be. Painful process but OH SO WORTH it if it is for His glory..which it is. Because of our mission trips, we have fallen in love with so many of the kids in Ukraine. We were finally able to bring of one them home to be a part of our family and that is when God made our world go upside down. You can read that blog at AnotherDeFrees.webnode.com God is good!
